#1 Peanut butter balls

Quick and Easy Dog Food Recipes

These energizing snacks boast only four ingredients: peanut butter, rice flour, apple sauce, and cinnamon. What makes this recipe special is the abundance of nutrients present in the peanut butter and applesauce. Peanut butter is a nutrient-dense dog treat, supplying minerals, fiber, protein, and healthy fats. On the other hand, Applesauce has a lot of fiber, which will help in your dog’s normal digestion. You can give it to canines that are having constipation or diarrhea. Now, let’s dig in.

Ingredients:

Peanut butter

1 cup of rice flour

3 cups of applesauce

1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°Degrees.
  • Take the peanut butter. Make sure it’s dog safe and free of xylitol.
  •  Warm and melt the peanut butter in a small bowl in the oven for 20 seconds.
  •  In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice flour and the apple sauce. If you don’t have applesauce, you can use egg as an alternative.
  •  Add the cinnamon. Pour in a copious amount of water to achieve the desired consistency.
  • After the peanut butter has been liquefied, combine it with the rest of the ingredients. Put together the mixture you made earlier: rice flour, apple sauce, and cinnamon.
  • Mix well until the mixture is slightly sloppy or sticky. And to get the desired consistency, add half a cup of water at a time. It’s best if it’s loose so you can easily slide it into the molds.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over a silicone mold.
  •  Bake it for at least 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
