Buster the Bomb-Sniffer

War dogs are very precious in the military. They are highly trained and disciplined to be warriors. Military dogs help detect bombs, weapons, drugs and track threats.

Buster is the sniffer dog that went above and beyond his call of duty during his service in Iraq. During a house raid, he tracked down suicide vests primed for detonation.

 

It saved the lives of the military team and the civilian people. In 2012, he received the Friends for Life Award in honor of his heroic deeds and service.

He passed away in 2015 due to illness, and Buster’s human partner RAF Police Sergeant Will Barrow wrote a book entitled “Buster – The Military Dog Who Saved a Thousand Lives.”

A 7-year old boy found a stray dog below a 3-meter pit across the street on a snowy winter. As he tried to reach and pull under to save the dog, he slipped and fell into the hole, leaving him helpless along with the dog.

The boy was declared missing. Three days later, the boy was found inside the pit with the dog barking and howling exhaustively.

Rescuers captured the dog covering the boy to keep him warm in freezing weather. Right then, they believed that the dog saved the young boy from hypothermia.

In his military service in Afghanistan, he saved thousands of civilian lives by sniffing out IEDs that could have led to widespread devastation.

Sergeant Dave was Treo’s human companion, also known as a dog whisperer. They both connect naturally at the deepest level. When Treo left the military service in 2009, he received the Dickin Medal.

It is the highest honor that a military animal can receive in the UK. Sergeant Dave adopted Treo after he retired. When Treo passed away in 2015, Sergeant Dave wrote a book entitled “It’s All About Treo – Life and War with the World’s Bravest Dog

is a domesticated dog that helped his master fight a robber in the store. Jerry is the lucky parent of Bruno. One shady afternoon, his technology store was attacked by a solo thief, who steals valuable mobile phones on the counter.

While Jerry tries to prevent the thief, they fought dreadfully in their defense. Bruno was caught in the CCTV camera dragging and biting the legs of the robber.

The brave dog sinks his teeth in the burglar’s clothes, clawing him away from his master. Bruno uses his dog skills to help Jerry fought the thief.

The dog’s defense was able to prevent the burglar from escaping before the police could arrive. In the end, the unlucky robber gets arrested.

Kabang – The Selfless Dog

She is a female dog from the Philippines who saved two young girls. Kabang sustained a severe injury after throwing herself in front of the speeding motorcycle to shield the girls from being hit.

The young girls are safe, and the driver obtained minor injuries while the female dog lost her snout and upper jaw. After the accident, Kabang was treated and recognized for her heroism.

This Pit Bull in Staten Island catches a bullet for his master. He protected his master from a house invasion getting him shot in the head. Kilo miraculously survived the gunshot.

An X-ray revealed that the bullet went to his skull and exited to his neck, which means that it never penetrated Kilo’s skull. The results suggest that Kilo will be okay.

This is undeniably one of the most epic stories ever told. Kilo recovered after a series of medications and was recognized for his bravery.

Dogs are a blessing. If they are not pets or therapy animals, they are helping law-enforcement personnel to ensure the safety of the people.

A dog may have several roles to human beings, but its best title is always the “loyal companion.” No faith has never yet broken except that of a truly faithful dog, a creature so angelic that we humans don’t deserve.
